Do you ever wonder how you got here?
Monday around the hood. 2.75 in 20.
Wilke on Tuesday. So freaking cold, less than thirty. 10 forwards, 3 backwards, 3 sprints and every part of me (and I mean every part) hurt from the cold.
Wednesday around the hood. 3.4 in 24.45.
Thursday 800s with the select few. A joyous day, but weak on the workout. Six 800s. 3.00, 3.00, 2.58, 2.58, 2.54, 2.50. Gilbert said I should be running 2.40s. Discouraging. I felt really slow.
I shouldn’t write anymore because it would be very negative.

Set up your project Set up your remote preview server Set up an (S)FTP deployment connection, make sure you check “Automatically sync my changes” Go [...]
At work we are stuck with Subversion 1.4 clients (cough, Dreamweaver, ahem), so any new IDE I try has to use the SVN 1.4 api and format. Every 6 months or so I like to test drive IDEs, but most new editors and IDEs long ago gave up support for SVN 1.4 (except for PHPStorm, [...]
Look on the bright side. At least you’re not being subjected to the passive abuse/discrimination of low expectations. And you’re close to 2:40s. And you ran 10 repeats on Wilke 2 days before.
November 28th, 2006 at 11:02 am[...] Last time we did 800s in November I did six and described it as “discouraging”. October did 8 and “Kicked. My. Ass.” August shows six. All seem to be about the same pace, so I’m not getting faster, though 10 is more than 8 which is more than 6, so …. I can do more I guess. [...]
