Quick log. Mile repeats on Tuesday: 6.27, 6.00, 6.04, 6.01. Felt relaxed. Ran the last three alone. I feel like I’m sort of stuck in between groups. Trying to learn not to “race” these interval workouts. Learning that I don’t need to kill it every time, especially when I’m preparing for a race.
I signed up for 3M. Gilbert thinks I’m gonna do some crazy time. I think I’m gonna do some other time. We’ll see who is right. By the way, I’m looking for someone to run with. Anyone? McFly?
A while back I posted about trying to set up Google Spreadsheets as my training log. At that point I gave up trying to access the data externally, but a few weeks ago Google opened up their API, and I was able to wrangle some crude graphs and stats out of the deal. I may invest some time in actually setting up some sort of log, but we’ll see. I signed up for the new Flotrackr system, and its pretty nifty in some regards, but barebones in others. Really, it seems like more of a Facebook for runners than a training log. I couldn’t see how to enter intervals or the like, other than into a textbox, but maybe I just didn’t explore enough.
These two graphs and the table are generated dynamically from the Google spreadsheets data.
good luck at 3M. i wish i could come cheer you on, but i’m already booked on sunday morning.
