So it’s been brought to my attention that the Dot Game is inferior and deficient because it was written in, ahem, it’s hard for me to admit this … Script. Apparently, only freaks use Script.
See, I thought the most important thing to you, the player, was the actual playing of the game, while the most important thing to me was, you know, actually creating the game quickly and easily. Little did I know that your game playing experience, and my game-creating experience, are both diminished when said game is not developed in a suitable language that doesn’t ask me to solve Big Hairy Problems. Silly me, there I go again focusing on the end result and not the process. I’ll remove the Dot Game immediately and re-post it in about 18 months when I’ve re-created it in a mature language.
