Do you ever wonder how you got here?
Monday around the hood. 2.75 in 20.
Wilke on Tuesday. So freaking cold, less than thirty. 10 forwards, 3 backwards, 3 sprints and every part of me (and I mean every part) hurt from the cold.
Wednesday around the hood. 3.4 in 24.45.
Thursday 800s with the select few. A joyous day, but weak on the workout. Six 800s. 3.00, 3.00, 2.58, 2.58, 2.54, 2.50. Gilbert said I should be running 2.40s. Discouraging. I felt really slow.
I shouldn’t write anymore because it would be very negative.

Look on the bright side. At least you’re not being subjected to the passive abuse/discrimination of low expectations. And you’re close to 2:40s. And you ran 10 repeats on Wilke 2 days before.
